The first thing on Sunday morning Cerise Charmant wanted to take care of before classes began included rearranging the Charms classroom, and actually preparing lessons for all her students. This would be her first time back in the role of a professor after several, several years. Unfortunately, she had much trouble that summer finding professors to fill her empty positions. There were a number of reasons why, including many opened positions in the Ministry and in various other organizations around the Wizarding World - more enticing careers than being a Professor at Hogwarts, certainly.
However, because Defense Against the Dark Arts was taught by Professor Valentine, and Transfiguration by Professor Warren, Cerise thought it would be only fair to the students of Hogwarts the helpful class of Charms. Classes where students learned spells were truly the most important to the career, and Cerise couldn't wait to get back in front of the Charms classroom.
So, she entered the classroom, bearing her wand in her wand-hand (which happened to be her left hand, even though she was right-handed). Cerise stood in the doorframe as she observed the ambiance of the classroom. She didn't like it. So with a few swishes of her wand, she rearranged the desks to sit in islands, or groups - four desks facing each other, much like desks were arranged in elementary school. She swished her wand several more times; following that, rags and spray bottles carried themselves to the desks, spraying and wiping down the desks which must have been so dusty.
Nodding as the objects did their work, Cerise began to walk around the edges of the room. Surely there was more to be done to make this classroom feel more comfortable to her...
"Help will always be given at Hogwarts to those who ask for it."
