Welcome, to...
Number Twelve, Grimmauld Place
Joining a new site can be overwhelming at times, so we hope we can ease your confusion.
- Read the RULES and about our GALLEON SHOPPE.
- Before you start your character, maybe you want to CHECK OUT OUR CLAIMS?
- Before you create a CHARACTER PROFILE, why don't you check if our ADOPTABLES inspire your creativity?
Your profile must be accepted before you can participate in any in-character activities.
- After acceptance, PUT ON THE SORTING HAT.
The more detailed your answers are, the more likely you will be placed in the proper House.
- VISIT OLLIVANDER'S for your wand!
Begin a thread with your character entering Ollivander's, and the wand master will join you shortly.
- Relax and bring your character to the non-roleplaying, but in-character CHARACTER COMMON ROOM.
Get your character claims, sign up for lessons, or plot with other characters. Everything that is in-character but non-roleplaying is centralized here! You can easily make your way here by using the Floo Network on the top left hand sidebar.
- Take a break from roleplaying and SPEND TIME IN OUT-OF-CHARACTER CONVERSATION WITH OTHERS.
- A few days before each lesson starts, SIGN UP FOR CLASSES.
To appeal to the casual roleplayer, each term lasts twelve weeks with six lessons that last two weeks. While classes and homework are entirely optional, you won't earn many house points without them!
- ADDITIONAL CLASS INFORMATION:• For each post with at least one paragraph, you earn four house points. House points can be gained and lost during classes, too.
• Fully completed homework will be ten points, and half-completed homework will be five points.
• Lessons begin with a main post from the professor discussing the topic and that lesson's activity. The professor may have everyone reply & role-play together in that one thread, or, they may break you up into smaller groups.
• The lesson schedule will be released before term starts.
- ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:• A few days before term starts, you will be welcome to role-play in King's Cross Station and the Welcoming feast will begin in the Great Hall!
• If you're interested in teaching a class, check out our ADULT CAREER CLAIM.
