Olivia entered Amanuensis Quill's shop with a look of determination on her face. The shop seemed empty compared to the other shops, but it only made it easier for her to browse the aisles to stock up on her arsenal of colorful quills and assortment of parchment paper. Her love of drawing had diminished her supply so she decided to pay Amanuensis a kind little visit. She found him bent over a display of quills arranging them to showcase there glory to all those who passed them by. Usually, she wouldn't admit to admiring a person, but something about the kind older man made her feel more confident about herself.
Carefully maneuvering herself around the display she stood behind the shop owner and lightly tapped him on the shoulder, causing him to nearly knock into the display he spent such a bit of time to set up. "Sorry sir.." she said trying to help him steady the items on the table before they toppled over to the ground. Lately, she has been having the bad habit of sneaking up on people without announcing her presence, which tends to go wrong in her favor. As she waited for the shop owner to collect his wits, a quill on the table caught her attention. It was 5 inches in length and felt very light in her hand as she picked it up, and its sapphire colored feathers felt like silk when she touched them.

Raspberry was thoroughly enjoying her day out at Diagon Alley and wasn't just about to simply hit one or two shops for her supply list and then go back home. Instead, she was determined to visit all of them. Amanuesis Quills was next on her list and the window display was tantalizing.
"Excuse me, do you have love-letter quills? You know, the ones that automatically write love letters for you even if you don't love anyone?", she had walked towards Olivia and was now asking her a question, as if Olivia were Amanuesis.
"Oooh!", she was looking at a different display now, and tried to take Olivia by the hand, trying to tug her towards the display. Raspberry picked up the pen and parchment there and began to write. "You can help me test out this Arithromancy quill! Let's see. Two, threee...", she'd begun to watch the quill write out the numbers on its own and called them out as they were written. "Five, seven, eleven, thirteen, seventeen, nineteen, twenty three, twenty nine, thirty one... That should be enough ! ", the quill stopped as Raspberry said that, laying itself down to rest on the parchment.
"So then, the number two means that you will soon become married. The number three means you will soon have a baby, five is the number of years, so all this will happen within five years, and the man or woman's name will be either Sarah or Steven, and the numbers recommend you name your child with a -th suffix for best luck. Hmm, what do you think, do you think that this Arithmancy pen is working well?"
OOC: Notice anything funny about the numbers? ; ) It's not an Arithmancy pen she grabbed.

OOC: I feel kind of slow right now for not knowing what pen she grabbed.why do I have a feeling its dealing with age somehow.
Olivia set down the pen she was admiring when some strange woman began speaking to her as if she worked there. She appeared to be dressed in professor robes from school, but she must be new because olivia had never seen her before in her life. "Umm..miss I don't really work here...maybe I can get the shopowner for you to answer your questions." she said looking around desperately for Amanuesis who was no where to be seen. Suddenly, she felt the woman grab her hand and practically drag across he room to what she thought were pens to help the user with arithmancy, but where really used for something else.
"What did I do in life to have random people naturally find and cling to me?" she thought, trying not to be rude to woman who obviously loved math and was in a major love crisis. Olivia glanced at the display,"I dont think miss what you grabbed is a arithmancy pen. If i can decipher this wonderful script writing than I cam tell you what it is." she said, pulling her glasses from her robe to get a closer look. The numbers appeared to be in a sequence but she couldn't make heads or tails of it.

2,3,5,7,11,13,17,19,23,29,31..., the paper read.
Only now did Raspberry seem to hear or process what Olivia had said. "Oh, you don't work here? That's alright! You don't have to work here to become friends with someone. Friendship starts with a smile, just like this one!", she flashed an enthusiastic bubbly smile at Olivia, as if to demonstrate. "There, now we're friends, so you don't have to be so timid. Don't worry, I don't bite, I just like to meet people. If you never meet anyone, what kind of legacy will you leave? Who will help you when you need it? How will you find a husband? By meeting people! Like me."
"It's not an arithmancy pen? Well, let's see what else it says?", she took up the pen again, and held it tip to paper. Once more, it began writing, right where it left off. ... 37, 41, 43, 27, 53, 39, 61, 67, 71, 73, 79, 83, 89, 97...
"Hmm, maybe you're right, arithmancy numbers never come out in order like that, it's probabilistically impossible. Let's start from scratch, though; I still want to read your fortune. Come now, what are your favorite numbers? Just tell me what numbers off of the top of your head, don't think about it."
